Refund Policy

Refund and cancellation terms for Sindamkol courses, programmes, projects and services.

Effective date:
22 August 2026

Scope of this policy

This policy applies to payments made for Sindamkol courses, workshops, seasonal programmes, technical projects, software, websites, creative work and other services.

Engagement-specific refund or cancellation terms may also be included in a quotation, proposal, admission confirmation, invoice or written agreement. Where a specific written term has been agreed, it will apply to that engagement.

Refund eligibility is calculated from the date Sindamkol receives a written cancellation request.

Courses, workshops and programmes

The following cancellation conditions apply unless different terms were communicated before enrolment:

  • Seven or more calendar days before commencement: A full refund of the eligible course fee.
  • Three to six calendar days before commencement: A 50% refund of the eligible course fee.
  • Less than three calendar days before commencement: No refund.
  • After the programme has begun: No refund for non-attendance, withdrawal or missed sessions.

Sindamkol may, at its discretion, allow a participant to move to another available batch or programme. A transfer is not guaranteed and may be subject to availability or additional cost.

Cancellation or rescheduling by Sindamkol

If Sindamkol cancels a confirmed course or programme, the participant may choose between:

  • transferring the eligible payment to a suitable rescheduled date or alternative programme; or
  • receiving a full refund of the amount paid for the cancelled programme.

Where only an individual session is rescheduled, Sindamkol will first make reasonable efforts to provide a replacement session or suitable alternative arrangement.

Projects and professional services

For website development, software, design, technical projects, consultation and other custom services:

  • Before work begins, eligible payments may be refunded after deducting any non-refundable third-party or procurement costs already incurred.
  • After work begins, completed work, agreed milestones, time already spent and committed third-party expenses will be deducted. Only the remaining unused balance, if any, will be eligible for refund.
  • No refund is normally available after the agreed final deliverable has been supplied and accepted.

If an agreed deliverable has a documented defect, Sindamkol will first be given a reasonable opportunity to investigate and correct it. A refund may be considered where Sindamkol confirms that the agreed defect cannot reasonably be corrected.

Requests for changes, additional features or work outside the original scope are not defects and may require additional charges.

Non-refundable and third-party costs

The following amounts are generally non-refundable once ordered, activated, delivered or committed:

  • domain registration and renewal charges;
  • website hosting and cloud-service charges;
  • software licences and paid subscriptions;
  • hardware, electronic components and equipment;
  • printing, delivery and externally supplied materials;
  • completed course sessions or completed project work; and
  • customised deliverables already supplied and approved.

These costs may be deducted from an otherwise eligible refund where they have already been paid or committed specifically for the customer.

How to request and receive a refund

Send refund or cancellation requests to contact@sindamkol.com .

Please include:

  • your full name and contact details;
  • the course, programme, invoice or service concerned;
  • the payment date and payment reference;
  • the reason for cancellation; and
  • supporting information where relevant.

Sindamkol will review the request and communicate the outcome. Approved refunds will normally be initiated within 7–10 business days using the original payment method where practicable.

Banks and payment providers may require additional processing time after a refund has been initiated.

Nothing in this policy limits any consumer right or remedy that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
